GiveOUT Day is today! 130+ rainbow organisations to discover and fall in love with
By: Em Scott, CEO
Dear community,
Today is GiveOUT Day and my heart is full of love, excitement, and gratitude!
GiveOUT Day, Australia’s annual day of giving to LGBTQIA+ causes and communities, shines a light on more than 130 LGBTQIA+ non-profit organisations and initiatives doing incredible work to make Australia safer, fairer, and more inclusive.
It’s such a joy to see GiveOUT Day come to life and to feel the love being shared across socials and communities around the country.
Together, we’ve already raised $280,000 for over 130 organisations. Can you help us make GiveOUT Day 2025 our most incredible campaign yet?
Our community sector has achieved so much, yet there is still so much potential to unlock. Due to limited funding, LGBTQIA+ organisations can’t meet demand and reach all queer people in need: 40% of rainbow community sector organisations operate on budgets less than $10,000.
Today, we can help ensure every rainbow organisation has the resources they need to continue creating connection, services, advocacy, and hope in every corner of the country.
There are still organisations that need your support to reach their goals, and every dollar you donate today makes a huge difference.
To help you find your perfect match, I’ve grouped the participating organisations into broad themes that showcase the incredible range of work happening across our rainbow communities.
Thank you for standing with us on GiveOUT Day and for helping spread the love.
With love,
Em Scott
