GiveOUT Day

GiveOUT Day is Australia’s national day of giving for LGBTQIA+ communities and initiatives. It brings together the LGBTQIA+ community sector, donors, workplaces, and supporters from across the country,.
With matched funding, fundraising tools, training, prizes, and a ready-to-go platform, GiveOUT Day 2026 will make it easier than ever for the LGBTQIA+ community sector to fundraise together and amplify collective impact.
Last year, GiveOUT Day raised $635,000 for 134 organisations. 2026 will be even bigger!

RGA Grants
Rainbow Giving Australia’s grants program helps fund and strengthen LGBTQIA+ initiatives creating meaningful impact across Australia.
Ignite Grants support smaller, emerging, or grassroots initiatives to test ideas, respond to community needs, and build momentum for future growth.
Amplify Grants provide larger-scale support to established initiatives and organisations delivering deeper community impact, innovation, collaboration, or long-term sector development.

Something is coming…
Rainbow communities have always led the way on the issues that affect them. Organisations across Australia continue to lead this work, delivering vital, community-led services and advocacy, yet many remain underfunded.
Soon, Rainbow Giving Australia will launch a new project to back this work in a more connected, informed and impactful way by bringing people together to give collectively and fund what communities already know is needed.

Supporting community-led solutions
Rainbow Giving Australia supports community-led solutions by mobilising funding, growing skills, and expanding the knowledge base about the funding needs across the LGBTQIA+ sector.
We believes that the LGBTQIA+ community sector is uniquely placed to improve outcomes for LGBTQIA+ people and communities. However, the sector faces key constraints of limited funding, constrained organisational capacity, and gaps in funder understanding.
By reducing these constraints, the sector will be better resourced, more sustainable and better supported. Their work, in turn, will better enable LGBTQIA+ people and communities in Australia to thrive.

Rainbow Giving Australia operates through two connected charitable entities: Rainbow Giving Australia Ltd. (ABN 37 613 812 203) and the Rainbow Giving Australia Community Charity Trust (ABN 20 825 145 112).
Both are registered with the ACNC, with the Trust endorsed as a DGR-1 entity to support tax-deductible giving and long-term LGBTQIA+ philanthropy in Australia.
