Sweat with Pride is back: 21 minutes a day to make Pride Month count

Pride Month is a moment of visibility for rainbow communities. In 2026, Sweat with Prideis an invitation to turn that visibility into action.

Back for its second year this June, Sweat with Pride is a fun, inclusive challenge to boost your wellbeing and raise critical funds for LGBTQIA+ communities across Australia.

Move your way for 21 minutes a day: walk, wheel, dance, stretch, swim, or hit the gym, guided by a drag trainer of your choice (your coach for the month). Team up with colleagues, teammates, friends, or chosen family, or go solo and set your own pace.

“Sweat with Pride is genuinely good for everyone involved. For workplaces looking for a meaningful, fun way to engage their team this winter, it really is a no-brainer. And for anyone who wants to play a part in strengthening rainbow communities across Australia, this is your chance. Sign up, move together, and raise what you can. Let’s make Pride Month count!"

— Jake, Marketing and Engagement Manager, Rainbow Giving Australia

If June gets busy, this is a simple way to show up anyway: 21 minutes of movement a day, plus a few dollars from your network, can make a real difference.

Why your fundraising matters

Every day across Australia, LGBTQIA+ people rely on community-led services for mental health support, legal assistance, education, advocacy, and social inclusion.

These services play a vital role in addressing the discrimination many still face at work and in daily life. Yet the organisations delivering them do not always have what they need to meet demand.

That is why Sweat with Pride exists: money raised supports Rainbow Giving Australia and ACON to help fund these life-changing services and strengthen rainbow communities year-round.

Your fundraising also helps back community-led organisations delivering critical services. Including Pride Cup, which works to make community sport safer and more inclusive. With participating clubs reporting a 40%-50% reduction in homophobic behaviour.

With over 25 years of experience, Rainbow Giving Australia ensures funding and training reach the areas of greatest need, backing work designed and delivered by the people closest to the challenges.

As Australia’s leading LGBTQIA+ health organisation, ACON delivers programs directly to rainbow communities, including older LGBTQIA+ people, trans and gender-diverse people, and First Nations people.

How to Sweat with Pride

1. Sign up: commit to 21 minutes of movement a day, guided by a drag trainer of your choice (your coach for the month).

2. Team up or go solo: workplaces, friend groups, gym crews, and solo participants are all welcome.

3. Raise critical funds: set a fundraising goal, share your page, and invite your network to chip in.

4. Get sweaty your way: walk, wheel, lift, stretch, dance, or swim. Track any movement with Strava.

Sweat with Pride at work

Workplaces are one of the most powerful ways to get involved, and one of the best ways to make Pride Month meaningful for your team.

When a workplace registers as a team, it creates a shared goal that goes beyond the usual gesture. Your team moves together, supports each other, and raises funds for rainbow communities, all while boosting morale and wellbeing.

Workplaces receive a ready-made Pride Month activation, a team fundraising page, a leaderboard to track collective progress, and internal promotion resources.

Sweat with Pride+

Sweat with Pride+ is an exciting opportunity for gyms, sporting clubs, social groups, and event producers to host their own Pride Month event as part of the Sweat with Pride campaign.

Whether you bring people together to Connect, Move, or Dance, Sweat with Pride+ is a flexible event platform that amplifies Sweat with Pride and helps strengthen rainbow communities.
