Sam began their time with Aurora in 2018 as Director of Corporate Partnerships, and Chaired the Board since 2019. They are a visionary leader in people, inclusion, and cultural transformation with over 25 years of global experience spanning financial services, law, technology, higher education, arts, and natural resources. 

As Chief People Officer at Allens, Sam brings a bold, strategic approach to driving positive change. Previously, they served as Chief of Staff for Microsoft Asia and led inclusion and diversity at Westpac. 

Renowned for their work on gender and race equality, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and workplace culture reform, Sam has been instrumental in high-profile culture reviews in some of Australia’s largest workplaces, and co-led the groundbreaking Australian Music Review on sexual harm and harassment.

An award-winning leader, Sam was recognised as one of Australia’s Outstanding 50 LGBTIQ leaders and is a Churchill Fellow. Their passion for community-driven change, combined with a deep commitment to equity, continues to inspire.
