Originally from Ireland, Tasha moved to Sydney seeking adventure and community. Growing up in a small town, there wasn't much of a LGBTQIA+ community, so she found herself online searching for her people. Through social media, she discovered a whole new world where she could build connections and realise there was a place where she belonged. She discovered how powerful digital content can be in helping people find their community. Tasha has a passion for helping others find their people and building community. Creating LGBTQIA+ events has become her way of giving back and bringing people together. Every event she organises is planned with one question in mind: would little Tasha feel welcome?

In her spare time, you'll usually find Tasha at a gig, singing and dancing. She loves travelling and believes there's nothing better than hearing stories and seeing how differently we all experience the world. Tasha spent most of her career working in community care, where she learned the importance of listening, understanding and showing up for one another. She believes we should continue the fight for equality and help ensure the LGBTQIA+ community has the opportunities and support everyone deserves.
