Lexi Murrant (they/them)
Marketing & Communications Manager
Lexi Murrant (they/them) is non-binary, queer individual based in Bundjalung Country (Northern Rivers, NSW), with 8+ years experience in marketing, brand and communications. Deeply committed to cultivating positive social impact, they are driven by a desire to make branding, marketing, and design more meaningful, original, and bold. They thrive on bringing people together and believe organisations have the power to foster genuine connections through authentic messaging and initiatives. Lexi holds an honours degree in Fashion Promotion and proudly received the prestigious Lancashire Arts Festival Fashion Award. They achieved notable success leading marketing and communications (including a successful major rebrand across digital and physical mediums) for a national tech company based in Aotearoa. Through their freelance work, they have collaborated with diverse brands, ranging from global dance companies to local coaching businesses, specialising in creating spaces for people to bring their wild ideas or projects to another dimension.
Passionate about performance art, Lexi recently presented an artwork for Trans Day of Visibility, inspired by their personal journey with gender expression. They are equally enthusiastic about guiding individuals to discover their genuine selves through somatic dance and embodied photography. Lexi eagerly anticipates joining the team of GiveOUT and Aurora, having benefited directly from the power of LGBTQIA+ led organisations via the welcoming 'Queer Family' (a GiveOUT Day participant and Ignite Pride grant partner) in the northern rivers. They are eager to contribute by crafting marketing initiatives that amplify their community’s visibility, voice, and celebration.
