Teddy Loveny (he/they)

Teddy is joining Rainbow Giving Australia as Board Observer, bringing a rich mix of experience across the education, community and philanthropic sectors. Teddy is passionate about connecting the dots between big-picture strategy and the foundational infrastructure needed for thriving, resilient organisations.

Their career began in Boorloo/Perth's performing arts scene, followed by a pivot to the for-purpose sector after completing a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact in 2019. Prior to moving to Sydney, Teddy worked in monitoring and evaluation, managing the outcomes framework for one of the largest not-for-profit organisations in Western Australia. He also served on the Board of Transfolk WA, giving him first-hand experience of the challenges faced by un(der)funded grassroots, community-led queer organisations.

Currently working with a family foundation, Teddy brings a nuanced understanding of the philanthropic landscape and its potential to support transformative community work. They look forward to contributing to and learning from the dynamic team at Rainbow Giving Australia.
