Exciting News! 🌈 WE WON THE COMMUNITY PHILANTHROPY AWARD!
In 2021, in collaboration with The Aurora Group - A Ruby Foundation Ltd, our research report "Where are The Rainbow Resources?" highlighted a pressing issue: the LGBTIQ+ sector receives only 5 cents to every $100 philanthropic dollars. This chronic underfunding has led our sector to primarily operate on volunteer efforts, constrained budgets, and an inability to meet demand for services.
With support from the Snow Foundation, we co-created the Amplify Pride Fund in 2022 to address this gap. The fund provides the LGBTIQ+ sector larger, more sustainable funding and provides philanthropy a tangible opportunity to be a part of the change. We are by community, for community.

While we've made significant strides, our work is far from over. Due to ongoing stigma and discrimination, rainbow communities continue to experience poorer mental health, isolation, homelessness and economic marginalisation. The LGBTIQ+ community sector achieves great outcomes for communities when they have the resources. Our grantees are proof of that and we are so proud of their work.
Our goal remains ambitious: to direct millions towards LGBTIQ+ communities through the growth of the Amplify Pride Fund and other strategic initiatives. Our end vision: An empowered, sustainable, and well-resourced Australian LGBTIQ+ community sector.
