As someone helping to bring the Aurora Ball to life, what aspect of the event are you most excited about creating or experiencing for the first time, and why do you think it will resonate with guests?
A: “Rhys and I aim to create a night of celebration. I’m most excited to share in the spirit of fun and joy. I think it’s so important as a community to honour our strength and deep bonds of history—and also the deep bonds of frivolity and fabulousness that keep us together.”
We're all curious about the fashion! What will you be wearing to the Aurora Ball? Is there a special story or inspiration behind your chosen attire?
A: “I’m going for frilly pirate shirt realness paired with some crushed velvet. I don’t know if they had crushed velvet in the Renaissance era—but I’m taking some historical liberties—and you should too!”

A: “I want them to feel the euphoria of being in a room full of queer wonders and swelling with pride at the talent, creativity and kindness that surrounds them!”
