It is estimated that up to 11% of the Australian population identifies as LGBTIQ+ but LGBTIQ+ organisations receive less than 1% of overall funding. In 2021 alongside Oliver Wyman, we produce a report on how LGBTIQ+ organisations fit within the broader Australian charity sector. Diving into the role an intermediary funding mechanism model can play in supporting LGBTIQ+ communities.
