Em Scott (she/her)
CEO

Em is a proud queer woman, whose career is focused on improving outcomes for LGBTIQ+ communities and creating a more equal Australia. 

She is the former CEO of GiveOUT and former CEO and Board Director of Out for Australia (an LGBTQIA+ not-for-profit), with 10 years of experience as a health and human services management consultant including at Nous Group. 

She is an admitted lawyer and MBA graduate from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. 

In 2024, she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to investigate global philanthropy strategies to improve outcomes for LGBTQIA+ Australians. 

Some of her work as a consultant includes developing strategies for: Commonwealth Department of Health Blood Borne Viruses and STIs, LGBTQIA+ Legal Service Victoria, a drug and alcohol treatment facility for women, Tasmanian's new torture prevention body, and diversity and inclusion in the NSW Public Sector.

She is a water sport enthusiastic, and proud to play with the queer inclusive Sydney Stingers water polo team.
