Georgia Mathews (she/her)

Georgia founded The Channel (now GiveOUT) and was Executive Director during its first four years of existence. She has also held positions at other philanthropic intermediaries and funding organisations including Australian Women Donors Network, Social Ventures Australia, and Inner North Community Foundation. 

Georgia has a certificate in not-for-profit governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has held Board positions at GiveOUT and the Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights Asia and the Pacific. She has a Bachelor of Arts (History and Gender Studies) from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Philanthropy and Social Impact from Swinburne’s Centre for Social Impact, and a gorgeous whippet called Sonny.
